... and some campers write a book
Excerpts from "Camp Girls" by Stephanie Holton, Hamilton
Speaking of her cabin mates at Elohim: "We were like three peas in a pod! ... We had only been there an hour and already were loving it! ... [That first night] I soon discovered that Julia doesn't snore, but she whistles and then breathes really loud."

Some of the camp activities: "After we met everyone we went to play giant volleyball with one of those huge soccer balls. That's when we also got our name. We are the Amazing Angles. (sic) ... At free time we got to go either play the new carpet ball or basketball in the brand new game room. Or we could play on the playground or just walk around. There was also a really big, big, big gazebo where you could sit at a picnic table and talk to your friends."
"You can buy pop and snacks, usually candy [from the camp store]. .. but you can't keep it in a cabin, a bear or something might come, like last year someone left food on the cabin porch and a bear came!"
Camp schedule: "After breakfast we went to 'Camp Band' then the first lesson of the day. It was about the great things of Heaven and it doesn't matter if you make mistakes as long as you ask for forgiveness."
Stephanie is 12, and lives in Hamilton, Montana. She loves to swim, sing, write, read and draw, and when she gets older she wants to be either a NASA scientist or a fashion designer. She loved camp and decided to write a book chronicling her tales.
